This season hasn't been kind to the Emmanuel Christian Crusaders, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 43-23 walloping at the hands of South Pointe Christian on Thursday. Emmanuel Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Pointe Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

South Pointe Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Price, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Aiden Arant, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Emmanuel Christian bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for South Pointe Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Emmanuel Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. South Pointe Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
