MaxPreps California Regional Bowl Game Matchups

With many teams having a bye last week, there was relatively little change in the MaxPreps California Regional Bowl Game matchups.

The main shakeup came in the San Diego Section, where three new teams enter the regional matchups, including Bishop's (La Jolla), Calexico and Mt. Carmel.

The top debuting team this week is Manteca, which replaces Oakdale in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III.

MaxPreps determines its regional matchup predictions based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. Care is also taken to avoid regional matchups between teams from the same section when possible. The team's record from this year and its current computer ranking are included in the regional matchups.
