Basketball Recap: Oklahoma Union Wins Going Away Against Afton

Oklahoma Union won the last time they faced Afton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Oklahoma Union Cougars took down the Afton Eagles 57-42.

Despite the defeat, Afton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aiden Victor posted 19 points. That was a full 45.2% of Afton's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendal Landrum, who put up ten points.

Oklahoma Union now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Afton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Oklahoma Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-45 victory against Copan on the 21st. As for Afton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-28 win against Colcord on the 21st.
