Volleyball Recap: Havana Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Havana lost against Elmwood back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ducks fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 27-25.

Kaydi Miller paced Havana's offense, picking up seven kills. Miller got some help from Lillian Porter and her ten assists. Porter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Havana's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Elmwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coming up, Havana will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 6:00 p.m. As for Elmwood, they will face off against West Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
