Baseball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville fell victim to Celina and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on March 4th.

Gainesville dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Celina, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

While Gainesville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
