It was a good run, but Oxford unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Unionville Longhorns. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.

Kaley Higgins paced Oxford's offense, picking up ten kills. Higgins got some help from Maycie Smith and her 17 assists.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Unionville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will take on Tome at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unionville, they will face off against Great Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
