The Scott's Branch Eagles will be playing at home against the Ragin Prep Christian Academy Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Scott's Branch scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 71-40 win over Johnsonville at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Scott's Branch has managed all season.
It was another big night for Jordan Kind, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Nigel Lawson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Ragin Prep Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Curtis Baptist.
The win (which was Scott's Branch's third in a row) raised their record to 8-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Ragin Prep Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
