Volleyball Recap: Oconto Falls Takes a Loss

Oconto Falls lost against Fox Valley Lutheran back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Foxes. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-10, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Oconto Falls lost, don't look at Rylie Shallow. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and two aces. Shallow has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Hayden Massonet was nothing short of spectacular for Fox Valley Lutheran: she had 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs gave Massonet a new career-high.

Oconto Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 27-7. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.
