Jackson won the last time they faced Perry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Polar Bears blew past the Panthers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Polar Bears.
Jackson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-10, 25-20.
Taylor Brownsword paced Jackson's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brownsword got some help from Morgan Rosenberry and her 28 assists. Nya Hockman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Jackson's record is now 3-1. As for Perry, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
After both having extra time off, Jackson and Mentor will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perry, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Tuscarawas Valley on the 30th.
