Lakeland Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 65-55 win over Prestonwood Christian North. The score was all tied up 30-30 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Lakeland Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Castaneda, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine assists. Matt Castaneda was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.
