Softball Recap: Junction City Comes Up Short

Junction City fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Crossett on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in March.

With the defeat, Junction City broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Crossett, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.
