Basketball Recap: Ferris Yellowjackets vs. Alvarado Indians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Godley, Ferris was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 36-23 win over the Alvarado Indians. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Yellowjackets as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Alvarado had strong showings from Mckayla Norris, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, and Carleigh Ray, who posted six points along with nine boards and four blocks.
