Soccer Recap: Pine Tree Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pine Tree kept a clean sheet against Center on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Center Roughriders. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Roughriders are ranked 239th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Julian Ibarra and Chris Resendiz scored all four of Pine Tree's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for Center, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.
