Baseball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Yankees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yankees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-7 last Wednesday.

Jacob Santos was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

University now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

University has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gardena on the 22nd. As for Hamilton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Los Angeles CES on the 26th.
