Volleyball Recap: American Leadership Academy Wins Going Away Against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Draper APA, American Leadership Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

American Leadership Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-21, 25-20.

American Leadership Academy found their leader in sophomore Abrielle Huntsman, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Huntsman. Lexy Vigo also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

American Leadership Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They are 4-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

American Leadership Academy's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

American Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Rowland Hall on the 25th. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Intermountain Christian on the 25th.
