Basketball Recap: Parkview's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Parkview had won two straight games and Kennedi Benton did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Parkview Panthers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Peachtree Ridge Lions 68-27 thanks in part to Benton, who posted 28 points along with eight boards and five assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Parkview's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Baileigh Page, who put up four points and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Parkview is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Peachtree Ridge, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Parkview will face off against North Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will square off against Berkmar at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
