Providence Grove won the last time they faced Morehead and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Providence Grove's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Morehead, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Providence Grove will face off against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Morehead, they will square off against North Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
