With a playoff win on the line, St. David rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Desert Heights Prep Yote 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on seven straight.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7, 25-18.
Paisley Gooding paced St. David's offense, picking up nine kills. Gooding got some help from Emma Hart and her 24 assists. Hart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 12 aces.
St. David's victory bumped their record up to 20-18. As for Desert Heights Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
Coming up, St. David will challenge Anthem Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Desert Heights Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
