Football Recap: Sebastion Robertson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Floyd Central over Whiteland

After flying high against Warren East last Friday, Floyd Central came back down to earth. The Highlanders came up short against the Whiteland Warriors on Friday, falling 48-28.

Floyd Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sebastion Robertson, who rushed for 100 yards and two scores. Jack Mull was another key player, throwing for 316 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Floyd Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Whiteland, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Floyd Central will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whiteland, they will host Decatur Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season.
