Basketball Recap: Lake City Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lake City lost against Stewartville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lake City Tigers fell 63-54 to the Stewartville Tigers.

Lake City's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-4. As for Stewartville, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lake City won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Goodhue at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stewartville, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Stewartville Tigers duke it out with the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
