It was a Battle of the Birds when East Forsyth duked it out with Forbush on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.
East Forsyth never let Forbush on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.
East Forsyth can attribute much of their success to Samantha Brito, who had 22 assists. Those 22 assists gave Brito a new career-high.
East Forsyth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forbush only served one ace.
