Softball Recap: Farmersville Comes Up Short

Farmersville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Orange Cove Titans, falling 13-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Aztecs were not able to get on the board.

Farmersville dropped their record down to 10-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Orange Cove, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Farmersville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legacy Christian Academy at 4:15 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Orange Cove, they will take on Fowler in a tournament on Saturday.
