Baseball Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kingman and Chaparral meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Eagles lost 9-3 to the Roadrunners. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since May 5, 2025.

Kingman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5-1 record this season. As for Chaparral, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingman will square off against Haven on Monday. As for Chaparral, they will welcome Wichita Defenders HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
