Baseball Game Preview: Sto-Rox Vikings vs. Bethlehem Center Bulldogs

The Sto-Rox Vikings will square off against the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sto-Rox is coming into the contest on a 12-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Things were looking good for Sto-Rox after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 8-2 to Obama Academy of International Studies.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bethlehem Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Fort Cherry by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Luke Amon, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Bethlehem Center now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sto-Rox, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
