Softball Recap: Nashoba Regional Gets the Win

Nashoba Regional won the last time they faced Groton-Dunstable and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 9-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Jenna Gael was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Nashoba Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Groton-Dunstable only posted an OBP of .472.

Nashoba Regional's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Groton-Dunstable, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nashoba Regional is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Westborough at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Groton-Dunstable, they will take on Nashua North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
