Soccer Game Preview: Buffalo vs. Worland

Buffalo is 0-10 against Worland since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Bison will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Buffalo will be strutting in after a victory while Worland will be coming in after a defeat.

Buffalo is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Douglas, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Buffalo was ranked 16th). The Bison never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but Buffalo pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Worland was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Torrington who was credited with the victory. The Trailblazers got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Worland's four. Worland's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Buffalo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Worland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
