Basketball Game Preview: Southridge Suns vs. Walla Walla Blue Devils

Southridge hasn't had much luck against Walla Walla recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Southridge Suns will host the Walla Walla Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Saturday, Southridge earned a 71-64 victory over Hanford.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walla Walla). They came out on top against Kennewick by a score of 72-60 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 29-29 at the break, but the Blue Devils were the better team in the second half.

Walla Walla now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Southridge, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

Southridge and Walla Walla were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but Southridge came up empty-handed after a 47-46 defeat. Can Southridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
