Soccer Game Preview: Westview vs. West Noble

The Westview Warriors will face off against the West Noble Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Westview is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bethany Christian just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Westview's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Noble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They beat Fort Wayne Bishop Luers by a goal, winning 4-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for West Noble considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Fort Wayne Bishop Luers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leo Lopez (2), Angel Recendiz, and Sebastian Carrillo.

West Noble pushed their record up to 11-4-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven matchups. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
