Football Game Preview: Menchville Monarchs vs. Warwick Raiders

Menchville hasn't had much luck against Warwick recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Monarchs will host the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Menchville has given up an average of 46.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Menchville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Woodside on Thursday, falling 41-21.

Meanwhile, Warwick faced Phoebus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders strolled past the Phantoms with points to spare, taking the game 34-20. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Menchville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Warwick, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Menchville was taken down by Warwick 52-14 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Monarchs were down 38-14.
