Basketball Recap: Canyon Crest Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Canyon Crest Academy was the 58-41 winner over West Hills when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolf Pack on Saturday. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Hills was led to victory by Malekai Dillon and Ethen Shaw. Dillon went 9-for-14 to rack up 21 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Shaw posted eight points in addition to ten assists and four steals. Dillon's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Dru Bullard was another key player, putting up nine points.

Canyon Crest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Hills, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Canyon Crest Academy will welcome La Jolla at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Hills, they will head out to square off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
