Soccer Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia managed to keep up with Klein Collins until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Magnolia Bulldogs came up short against the Klein Collins Tigers, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Tigers are ranked 117th).

Magnolia has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season. As for Klein Collins, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-1.

Magnolia will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Tomball at 7:00 p.m. As for Klein Collins, they will face off against Klein Cain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
