Pinedale faced Lyman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wranglers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wranglers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Pinedale never let Lyman on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Megan Boulter, who had 11 digs.

Pinedale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-1 record this season. As for Lyman, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1.

Pinedale will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Lyman, they will welcome Cokeville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
