Softball Recap: Minerva Takes a Loss

Minerva lost against Marlington last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Dukes. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Minerva saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Sell, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Minerva's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Marlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

While Minerva had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
