Volleyball Recap: Saint Francis Comes Up Short

Saint Francis and Clovis East squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Saint Francis had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Timberwolves. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Clovis East scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.

This is the second loss in a row for Saint Francis and nudges their season record down to 24-15. As for Clovis East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-11.

Saint Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clovis East, they will head out to square off against Harker at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
