Basketball Recap: Terry Sanford Takes Down Orange in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Terry Sanford walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Orange Panthers 64-27. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 games by 21 points or more this season.

Terry Sanford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Breonna Roaf out in front who shot 42% from the field on her way to 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. Roaf is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ameya Brown, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 20 points.

Terry Sanford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 60 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
