Georgetown-Ridge Farm had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Danville Vikings. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Milee Ellis paced Georgetown-Ridge Farm's offense, picking up nine kills. Ellis got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her 15 assists. Fraser-Soule was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's record now sits at 13-4. As for Danville, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will host Oakwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Danville, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Champaign Central at 7:00 p.m.
