Soccer Recap: Rocky Mount Takes a Loss

Rocky Mount lost against Southern Nash back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gryphons lost 7-1 to the Firebirds. Rocky Mount have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rocky Mount's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Southern Nash, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Rocky Mount and Southern Nash will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Gryphons see the pitch they'll take on Franklinton at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Southern Nash, their break will end when they face Northern Nash at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
