Volleyball Game Preview: Clark Chargers vs. Las Vegas Wildcats

Clark hasn't had much luck against Las Vegas recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Clark came up short against Sunrise Mountain and fell 3-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clark started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-17, 25-17, 25-12.

Clark might have lost, but man, Theodore Birdsong was a machine: he had 27 assists and four blocks. Birdsong has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times he's played. Michael Chung was another key player, getting ten kills.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas lost 3-0 to Legacy on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-16.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.
