Softball Recap: Fairview Knights vs. Wheat Ridge Farmers        
        
		
             If Fairview was feeling good  fresh off their  19-1 takedown of Skyline last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fairview Knights lost  17-7 to the Wheat Ridge Farmers on Saturday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Farmers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
  Julia Savage was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI, and two  doubles. What's more,  she also racked up three  hits, the mostshe's  had since back in August.  Olivia Soto was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Wheat Ridge,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-6.
 Fairview will head out to  take on Erie  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Erie will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  victory, something Fairview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wheat Ridge, they will host Standley Lake  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Standley Lake is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Wheat Ridge will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win.
