Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial and Sierra Canyon squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They came up short against the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, falling 73-48. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Sierra Canyon, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Canyon, they will welcome Santa Barbara at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sierra Canyon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
