Basketball Game Preview: Lebanon Tigers vs. Faith Christian Eagles

The Lebanon Tigers will be taking part in a tournament against the Faith Christian Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Lebanon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-45 to Danville. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Defeat or not, Lebanon got some senior leadership from Kaden Lark and Jack Ferrell. Lark dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards, while Ferrell posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Those 11 rebounds gave Lark a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian came up short against West Central last Monday and fell 71-58. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lebanon will need focus on slowing down Luke Barrett, one of several Faith Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He earned 17 points. Another player making a difference was Gabe Miller, who had 15 points.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lebanon, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
