Basketball Game Preview: Arabia Mountain Rams vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

The Arabia Mountain Rams will square off against the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arabia Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Woodward Academy likes a good challenge.

Arabia Mountain played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They had just enough and edged Shiloh out 59-57.

Meanwhile, Woodward Academy faced Kell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Woodward Academy walked away with a 77-66 win over Kell. Winning may never get old, but the War Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Woodward Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Arabia Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Arabia Mountain might still be hurting after the 76-55 loss they got from Woodward Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Arabia Mountain was down 41-19.
