Upson-Lee lost to Lamar County back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Knights who were credited with the victory. The Upson-Lee Knights got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Lamar County Trojans' three. The win made it back-to-back victories for Upson-Lee.

Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Lamar County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-3.
