Basketball Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers
After two games on the road, Roosevelt is heading back home. They will take on the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Roosevelt pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 63-55 to Revere.
Roosevelt's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jaden Dennison, who scored 13 points. Ryan Slocum was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Magics by a score of 57-49. While losing is never fun, Cuyahoga Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Magics are ranked 93rd).
Roosevelt has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Cuyahoga Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.
