Baseball Recap: Thurston Comes Up Short

Thurston fell victim to Melvindale and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 17-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thurston's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Melvindale, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thurston will square off against Dearborn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Melvindale, they will challenge Garden City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
