Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. McIntosh Chiefs

The Harris County Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 54-32 loss at the hands of McIntosh. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Harris County has scored all season.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zy?kevious Gates, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gates has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Phillips, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Landon Dolhancyk was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds for McIntosh. That's the first time this season that Dolhancyk pulled down eight or more rebounds. Adan Dollens was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and three steals.

Harris County has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for McIntosh, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Harris County will head out on the road to face off against Spencer at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Averaging 72.2 so far this season, Spencer's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Harris County better be ready for a challenge. As for McIntosh, they will square off against Tucker at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Tucker will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
