Softball Recap: Lynbrook Vikings vs. Cupertino Pioneers
Lynbrook had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 4-16 to make it four. They lost 17-5 to the Cupertino Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-6 back in April.

Lynbrook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calia Lim, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Lim is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
As for Cupertino, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-8. Considering they have won 13 matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On Cupertino's side, Jasmyne Llanos made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Llanos was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Dayoung Jung was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Talitha Vaughn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
As of now, neither Lynbrook nor Cupertino have any future games scheduled.
