Softball Recap: Laguna Creek Takes a Loss

Laguna Creek managed to slip by Pleasant Grove the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles on Wednesday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Laguna Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aundrea Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Laguna Creek now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Pleasant Grove, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

As of now, neither Laguna Creek nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
