It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holmen had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Baraboo Thunderbirds 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Holmen took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-11.

Holmen was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.
