Recap: Subiaco Academy Trojans vs. Corning Bobcats
It was a good run, but The Subiaco Academy Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 38-30 to Corning.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brody Koch, who rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 15 yards and a touchdown. Koch hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for six straight games. Caleb Cowell was another key contributor, picking up 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Subiaco Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Corning, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Subiaco Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corning also has no future games currently scheduled.
